    Doctor
    Dr. Neasa Conneally

    Dr. Neasa Conneally graduated with honours in Human Health & Disease from Trinity College Dublin in 2013 and Medicine from University College Dublin in 2017. She completed the ICGP Western GP Training Scheme and qualified as a GP in 2022. 
      
    She is a passionate provider of all aspects of female and reproductive health. She has been awarded the diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG), the STI Foundation (STIF) certificate and the ICGP certificates in community gynaecology and menopause theory. She has also been awarded the ICGP contraception and long-acting contraception (LARC) course certificates and is an experienced provider of all contraception options including Implanon and coils.

    Dr. Aidan Gilmore

    Dr Aidan Gilmore graduated in Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland in 2014. Following several years working in various medical specialties in Ireland and Australia he commenced the Western general practice training scheme under the Irish College of General Practitioners and graduated in 2022.

    He holds a diploma in Paediatrics and a certificate in Palliative Care. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal problems and has completed the Kingsbridge Course for joint injections which is a service he now offers to our patients.

    Dr. Fidelma McKenna

    Dr. Fidelma McKenna graduated in Medicine from University College Dublin. After completing some time in General Medicine, Paediatrics and ENT Medicine she completed her GP training on the Galway Vocational GP Training Scheme. Fidelma is a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners (MICGP) and also a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). She holds a Diploma in Paediatrics (DCH) from UCD and a Certificate in Community Paediatrics from the Royal College of Physicians. She also holds a Diploma in Obstetrics (DOBS).  

    Currently, Fidelma works in both General Practice and Community Paediatrics. Her areas of special interest are working with children with disability and caring for the elderly.

    Dr. Toireas Moriarty

    Dr Toiréas Moriarty graduated with an MB BCh BAO from NUIG, Galway in 2009. She completed her MICGP on the Mid-Western GP Training Scheme in 2015.

    She loves what she does, explaining: “As a GP, you get to provide holistic care for your patients and develop a relationship with them over time.”

    Harbouring a particular interest in women's health, contraception and family planning, Toiréas holds a specialised contraception certificate and is a certified ICGP cervical tester with Ireland’s Cervical Check programme. In addition, she is passionate about mental health and medical student teaching and holds a European Certificate in Palliative Care.

    “Every day provides different challenges and new learning opportunities,” she says. “No two days are the same.” If Toiréas could give but one piece of advice it would be to get some sleep, please, because, “sleep is so important for your mental and physical health.”

    Nurse
    Mairead Concannon

    Mairead Concannon graduated from NUIG &UHG School of Nursing in 1995. She completed her Higher Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety with NUIG in 1999. Mairead has been a Registered General Nurse for almost 30 years with the past 15 spent in General Practice at Knocknacarra Medical Centre. Mairead’s specialist areas include Baby vaccinations, cervical smears, and chronic disease management, especially diabetes. She is extremely very passionate about her role. She strongly believes in delivering excellent patient care and that every contact counts.

    Bernadine Rice

    Bernadine qualified as a Registered General Nurse at St.Vincents Hospital in Dublin in 1998. She was employed there for three years as a staff nurse, followed by an additional three years as CNM 1(Nurse Manager). During this period she completed a Diploma in health service management and also earned a higher Diploma in practice nursing.

    She has been employed as a General practice nurse since 2004.

    Bernadine is qualified in all areas of General practice nursing, including but not limited to childhood immunisations, travel health, diabetes care, smoking cessation and general health promotion. She is also a registered cervical smear nurse.

    Bernadine’s areas of special interest are Diabetes and health promotion.

    Margaret Kineavy

    RGN, RM, RPHN, MsCH

    Margaret graduated as a General Nurse and Midwife from Galway University Hospital and has a Public Health Nursing National Diploma and subsequently worked for 33 years with the HSE as a Registered Public Health Nurse. She also holds a Master of Science in Child Health from UCD. Margaret has a keen interest in children’s health and the importance of early attachment on a child’s social and emotional well-being “The Early Years Lasts a Lifetime”. In 2021 she trained as a COVID-19 vaccinator and afterwards worked as a vaccinator with the HSE in areas of COVID-19, flu and schools. She also worked as a corporate Health Screener. In September 2023, she joined Centric Health and works as a General Practice Nurse She is a member of the Nurses and Midwives Board of Ireland. Margaret is passionate about screening and early detection of abnormalities but above all immunisations and the eradication of vaccine-preventable diseases.

    Primary Care Assistant
    Jodi Steel

    Jodi qualified from UCD as a Primary Care Assistant with Centric Health in 2023. Prior to joining Centric, she was a Practice Manager/Senior Administrator for 15 years within General Practice. In her PCA role, Jodi manages the Chronic Disease Management programme as well as provides administrative and clinical support to Nursing and GP colleagues by performing tasks such as Phlebotomy, ECG (Heart Tracing), 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, administration of Flu Vaccines, measuring vital signs, and Urinalysis.
