Meet our Team

Dr. Aisling Hayes, MB BAO BCh MICGP. As a graduate from UCD in 2000, Dr. Hayes has worked in general practice since 2005. Dr. Hayes has a special interest in women's health.

Ray is a practicing GP in Blessington Medical since 2019. He completed his specialist training in General Practice after graduating from UCD in 1988.

After completing his MICGP and MRCGP from 1992-99 he worked in Australia both with the Royal Flying Doctor Service and the University of Western Australia where he completed an MBA and attained Fellowship from the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Ray believes that the doctor-patient relationship is at the core of effective healthcare promoting patient health and wellbeing.

This is particularly true of the relationship between GPs and their patients. He has always wanted to shine a light on that relationship.

Dr Sarah Whelan graduated from UCD in 2009 and is a member of the Irish College of
General Practitioners.

On completion of her medical degree, she spent four years training in hospital medicine
before embarking on a career in general practice. Her special interests include dermatology,
paediatrics, women’s health and palliative care.
