Doctor
Dr. Kandan Loganathan
Dr Kandan is an Irish trained medical graduate from University College Galway (NUIG). Following his hospital jobs in HSE South and South East areas, he specialised in Orthopaedic medicine and surgery, receiving a Masters in Sports and Excercise Medicine from NUIG in 2009.
He recently completed 4 years in the North East General Practice Training Programme and received his CSCT and MICGP. During that time he developed skills in orthopaedic medicine, joint injection and skin surgery, including cryotherapy. He is a teacher in the faculty of the Irish Society of Orthopaedic and Rheumatological Medicine. He has also successfully completed certificates in contraception and smear taking.
In addition, he has completed ICGP Level 1 Methadone prescribing and has worked in a methadone clinic. With the experience and knowledge that he has gained to date, he would like to bring a hands-on approach to general practice. He would like his future patients to benefit from his clinical expertise and he would hope to build on what he has learned to date in his career in general practice.

Doctor
Dr. Abdalla Fantazi
Dr. Abdalla Fantazi graduated as a doctor in medicine from his native country Libya. He came to Ireland for post-graduate studies at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin. He worked in surgical speciality for two years before obtaining his fellowship at The Royal College of Surgeons. He also received his Diploma in Sports Medicine from both the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Surgeons.
He gained experience by working as a registrar in the Accident and Emergency department at Beaumont Hospital and also as Registrar in general and vascular surgery at St. James Hospital, Dublin and University College Hospital Galway. He has over ten years of experience in general practice working in Abbey Medical Practice, Navan and also in Dundalk for several years. His main interests are minor surgical procedures and the management of sports injuries.

Dr. Abbas Alyacoby
Dr Abbas Alyacoby graduated as a Doctor in Medicine from his native country Iraq. He graduated from Baghdad Medical University. He worked in hospitals in various specialities for many years including General Medicine, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics. He has a special interest in Paediatrics and Children’s Health. He worked as a Paediatric Registrar for two years. He completed a post-graduate study in Paediatrics and also has a Diploma in Family Planning.
He has good working experience in urgent care in which he gained good knowledge of all minor illnesses in Accident & Emergency Departments. He has long term experience working as a GP in General Practice for 20 years. He moved to Ireland a number of years ago and has worked in various surgeries in both Dublin and Drogheda. He has settled down now as a GP here in Hilltop Medical over the last 2 years.

Dr. Gabriela Socol
Dr Gabriela Socol graduated as a medical doctor in 2012 from her native country, Romania. She came to Ireland in 2014 for one year with the idea of gaining experience in a different health system. As it happens, she liked Ireland and its people so much that she decided to stay. Since then, she has gained experience by working in various specialities in Irish hospitals. In 2018, she started her vocational training in general practice with ICGP and recently gained her certificate of completion of training and MICGP.
She completed a certificate in contraception during her GP training and a diploma in Paediatrics. Currently, she is undertaking a diploma in Dermatology and further training in menopause care. She enjoys working in General Practice and is passionate about Children's health, Women's health, and the impact of lifestyle on health.

Dr. Lauren McBride Fields
Dr. McBride Fields completed a graduate entry medicine degree at University College Dublin, following an undergraduate degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin. She recently completed 4 years in the North-East General Practice Training Programme and received her CSCT and MICGP.
She has a keen interest in Women's Health throughout life—from pregnancy to menopause. She holds an advanced diploma in medical law from the Honorable Society of King’s Inns, a diploma in Obstetrics and Women's Health, and postgraduate certificates in palliative care, diabetes in primary care, traffic medicine, family planning, community gynaecology, clinical dermatology, and cervical screening. Dr. McBride Fields strives to offer empathetic, evidence-based care, ensuring all patients feel heard and supported.
