Dr. Caitriona Waters
Originally from Cornamona in the beautiful Connemara, Caitriona graduated from NUI Galway in 2001. She pursued vocational training in General Practice on the Western General Practice training scheme and was awarded MICGP in 2007. Caitriona established Seapoint Medical Centre in 2010.

Doctor
Dr. Martina Killeen
Martina obtained her medical degree from NUI Galway. She completed the Midlands GP training scheme, where she worked in the specialities of Paediatrics, Medicine, Medicine of the Elderly, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Psychiatry, and Dermatology.
She has been a General Practitioner (GP) since 2007 and joined us here at Seapoint Medical Centre in 2012.
Martina has been awarded diplomas in medicine of the elderly, child health, women's health and dermatology. She has a certificate in family planning and is competent in the insertion and removal of Intrauterine devices and contraceptive implants.

Doctor
Dr. Richie Baggott
Limerick native Richie graduated from NUI Galway in 2003. He pursued a career in Respiratory Medicine and, in the following years, Anaesthesia (Critical Care). He achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (Ireland) in 2007. Richie assisted in the setup of the Medical Assessment Unit at UHG in 2009 and became the first full-time doctor to run the unit.
He completed his GP training with the Western Training Programme in General Practice. As part of this training, he undertook a specialist 6-month module in Galway Hospice Foundation, Renmore, in the field of Palliative Medicine.
His areas of interest include men's health, respiratory, cardiac medicine and Endocrinology. He also has a keen interest in paediatrics and health promotion.

Nurse
Doreen Eaton
Doreen qualified as a Registered General Nurse in London in 1986 and as a Midwife in 1989. Following 12 years of Practice Nursing in North London, Doreen relocated to Galway and has been a Practice Nurse in County Galway since 2005.
Doreen is qualified and experienced in: Childhood immunisations, travel health, women's health, sexual health screening, wound care, chronic disease management, phlebotomy/venesection and is registered with the cervical screening programme.

Corionna Corcoran
Corionna joined us here at Seapoint Medical Centre in 2023. She obtained her higher diploma from Christchurch in Canterbury in 2003 and completed her Bachelor's Degree in Science from UCD in 2004. Following this,s she moved to Melbourne, where she became qualified as a cardiothoracic nurse. After spending 9 years as a specialist staff nurse in Galway Clinic, Corionna transferred over to Practice Nursing in 2017 in Galway City. She completed a Practice Nurse Course in 2019 and became certified as a cervical smear taker in 2018. She completed a diploma in diabetes in 2022 and qualified in travel health in 2023.
Corionna is qualified and experienced in: Childhood immunisations,women'ss health, sexual health screening, wound care, chronic disease management, phlebotomy/venesection.
