Our Team

Dr Richard Tobin Jr has been in practice in Castlebar for over 30 years, in continuity with Dr Richard Senior (rip) who commenced practice in the 1950s.

In 1995 together with his brother Dr Leo, Tobin Healthcare Centre was independently developed, as a first purpose-built disabled access multidisciplinary centre.

Dr Richard Tobin Jr in partnership with Centric Health since 2021 aims to ensure continuity of primary care and general practice services at the Tobin healthcare Centre over the coming decades.

He continues his practice including areas of special interests including musculoskeletal medicine, adult medicine, osteoporosis, and ultrasound assisted guided treatment and clinical assessment.

He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians since 1986 and qualifications include Masters in Health Informatics 2004 Trinity College Dublin.
