We offer flexible opening times and our staff are always keen to give new and existing patients a warm and friendly welcome.

OUT OF HOURS
Our Out of Hours service is provided by South Doc and operates from 6.00 pm until 8.00 am during the week and 24 hours on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Appointments:
At Wherlands Lane Centric Health we operate an appointment system. To make an appointment please telephone 021 4399199 and one of our team members will assist you. Please advise us if your appointment is urgent. Please note we do not offer walk-in appointments.
Emails:
Please note cannot respond to medical queries or questions through e-mail, this is used for administration purposes only.
Prescriptions:
You can book your prescription online at www.centricgp.ie/wherlands-lane-medical or by phoning the surgery on 021-4399199. There is a 48-hour turnaround for repeat prescriptions.
Because of the risk of dependence, we do not, in general, prescribe benzodiazepines or drugs with addiction potential
Blood tests:
The request for blood tests need to be cleared with the GP before a booking will be made. Patients cannot self-refer for blood tests.
Test Results:
It is important that you receive all the results of investigations carried out by your GP. You can request the results of any tests you may have such as x-rays or bloods by calling the surgery. Please leave at least one week after testing to enquire to ensure all results are back.
Code of conduct:
We will treat all patients with courtesy and respect. We expect to be treated in the same way. Rude or abusive language or behaviour to any staff member will not be tolerated
Fees:
Your GMS Card provides you with access to a wide range of medical services which are provided to you free of charge at the point of delivery. These services include standard consultations for the treatment of illnesses and related services necessary for the management of a wide range of medical conditions. There are some services we provide that are not covered and as such will incur a fee.
