Navan Road Medical: 10 Year Anniversary

Minister Paschal Donohoe, TD, visited his local constituency doctors at Navan Road Medical, Centric Health, on Friday, 2nd May, to mark the 10th Anniversary of one of Ireland’s largest multidisciplinary Primary Care facilities.

Navan Road Primary Care Centre is a 4-storey purpose-built Primary Healthcare Centre in Dublin city, developed in 2015 to bring together multiple health disciplines. Patients can now access GP Doctor services, Mental Healthcare (Centric Mental Health), Audiology Medical Services, Navan Road Dental Practice, and HSE Community Services under one roof. Led by partner doctors Roisin Lyons and Andres Gonzalez, a team of 6 GPs and 4 nurses serve the local community at Navan Road Medical.

Most recently, Navan Road Medical has begun offering patients the opportunity to participate in a free Lung Check Programme, a clinical trial that aims to find people at higher risk of lung problems and invites them to participate in comprehensive screenings, free of charge, all conducted conveniently in an on-site mobile unit. This groundbreaking pilot programme collaboration with Beaumont Hospital and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), is funded by the Irish Cancer Society and supported by the EU4Health SOLACE consortium and is available at 19 Centric Health GP Practices in North Dublin and the North East Region.
