Flu vaccination is recommended for children and teens aged 2–17 years. For this cohort, the vaccine is given nasally and is a live vaccine. If you suffer from any chronic diseases, diabetes, or are pregnant, you are strongly advised to get the flu vaccine. Adults are also encouraged to get ahead of flu and Covid infection this winter season by booking their vaccines with their GP.
These Clinics will be held at Carlow Medical every Monday - Thursday, 5 pm - 6 pm, from 8th December 2025 to 10th February 2026. Please phone the surgery to make an appointment. Kindly note that this service is NOT a walk-in service and is NOT for routine consultations.
