Can Therapeutic Support following an Autism Diagnosis be Helpful?

We offer neuro-affirming, evidence-informed therapeutic support for autistic people and those exploring a possible autism diagnosis.
Our focus is on autonomy, wellbeing, and quality of life in ways that feel meaningful, practical, and respectful of who you are.

Our autism-affirming supports are:

•    Strengths-based, not deficit-focused

•    Collaborative, working alongside you at your pace

•    Flexible, shaped around your goals and preferences

•    Neuro-affirming, respecting identity, autonomy, and lived experience

Support is never about changing who you are; it’s about helping daily life feel more manageable, more comfortable, and more aligned with your needs and values.

How autism-affirming support can help
Our neuro-affirming support can help with:

Understanding autistic identity

•    Exploring a strengths-based understanding of autism

•    Making sense of a recent diagnosis (or self‑identification)

•    Reducing shame, self‑criticism, or mask‑related burnout

Sensory & emotional regulation

•    Identifying sensory needs, sensitivities, and stressors

•    Developing practical strategies for overwhelm and fatigue

•    Supporting emotional regulation and recovery after overload

Social communication (if you want this)

•    Exploring your preferred communication styles

•    Navigating social situations in ways that work for you

•    Building confidence without pressure to mask or perform

This area is always optional and guided by your goals and comfort.

Routines, transitions & daily life

•    Supporting change, transitions, and uncertainty

•    Building routines that are realistic and sustainable for you

•    Problem-solving challenges in daily life, education, or work
